How the hell do I get the plugs off the driver side of opti?

How the hell do I get the plugs off the driver side of opti?

Ofcourse the passenger side is easy, but the driver side is friggin buried. I took off the alternator and slipped off the belt, but it looks impossible to get the plugs back on there(if I can even pull them off)

It's a bitch, but it can be done. Just keep working on it. Maybe try a moveable socket extensin (sp?)?

Take the extra ten minutes to remove the starter and I guarantee you all your problems will be solved. Trust me. There should be two bolts holding the starter to the block and then two nuts holding the wires on the end of the starter. Number 4,6,8 are all right there.
And by the way, that is the passenger side you are speaking of, unless you have the only 4th gen Lt1 fbody that had an alternator on the driver's side
