How hard is it to remove the front sway bar?
I want to remove the front sway bar before i go to the 1/8th track on saturday. How hard is it to do? Will i see a decent increase in my 60ft? and will i also launch better with out it?
If I remember correctly, just unbolt the endlinks(right behind the wheels), and the two mounts under the car.
BTW, The bolts for the endlinks may snap. Last year I broke the both bolts while removing the rear sway bar for a fuel pump install, AND this year the front ones while doing drop springs
. It wasn't too big of a deal though, just went to AutoZone and got some energy suspension ones.
