How hard is it to change the motor mounts with longtubes?

I'm getting quite a bit of false knock retard with my longtubes hitting my K-member and was wondering how hard it would be to change my motor mounts with my jethot longtubes in my car. Are there any tips or advice anyone can give me for doing this? It looks real cramped in there with the longtubes....

I have the same question as well except I have AS&M mids. My collector keeps vibrating against my K-member too and I have a set of Energy Suspension poly motormounts but I just don't have the time to do it. Maybe next weekend...?

If you can put longtubes in, and have a way to drill with a 1/2" bit reliably, then you can do motor mounts. Just do one side at a time, and I found it easiest to get them out by removing all the bolts holding the mount in question out and then taking the through bolt out and removing it as 2 separate pieces.

Its not near as difficult as you are making it sound.
