How hard to change a head?

I have to change the head on my 93 Z28. The passenger side one. How hard is it really? I take off the manifold, gas system, air system, pop the head off and replace. The head has some messed up header bolt threads which prevent the header from fully resting against the side of the head thusly causing an exhaust leak. I need to replace the whole head. That also begs the question if the 93 heads are different than other years.

I believe the heads are the same.

Check Shoebox's website http://shbox.com/1/plug_thread_repair.jpg . I know it is for the plug thread repair, so I am not sure if you can do something like this for a header bolt thread repair. Worst case you could take it to a machine shop and they could reair it for you. I don't think they would chare that much for thread repair. As far as pulling the head, it's not that hard. If you have power tools, it doesn't take that long either.
