How to fix lifter tick??!!

How to fix lifter tick??!!

I've got a lifter that is ticking and is driving me insane!!! What is needed to fix this. What needs to be tightened, adjusted, replaced?? Any info is great! THANKS!

are you sure its a lifter?
You can try doing a rocker arm adjustment, that is really the only adjustment you can do to your valvetrain, and if the rocker arm was not putting enough pressure on the lifter it could be causing it to tick. and its not that hard.
If you gotta replace lifters you gotta pull the intake. roller lifters are considered a 0 wear Item. That means in a properly running engine there is no difference between a lifter with 1 mile or 100,000 they should never go out unless they are starved for oil or they are overaccelerated. which is the mid 6k rpm range on stock lifters. Infact i have been through 3 cams and am still using the stock lifters.
