How does this setup sound?

I went to summit today and picked up the CC305 with matching springs, and BBK headers. I allready have a moroso CAI and i plan on getting the computer tuned and the LT4 KM. I will probably be getting an A/C delete pulley to.(any place to get them besides ebay?) I also spent 100$ on gaskets. These cars are so expensive, but so much fun.

sounds good to me. dont forget about changing the timing set, maybe add some hardened pushrods... Are you keeping your stock rockers or getting 1.6 rockers? what sort of catback do you have?

you can also get the a/c delete from jason cromer.

Re: How does this setup sound?

Changing the timeing set? I was going to pick up a new timeing chain and gears but when i take off the cover and it all seems fine im just going to leave it. Im not changing pushrods or rocker's. That trip to summit cost me over 800$ and their are still afew things i need to buy. As for my catback(which im going to hollow out) i just want a SLP pipe and 3 inches all the way back. That would be cheaper then ordering from SLP.(abound 400$) But what's on their now is just the stock exhaust without the muffler. I drove around like that for months, sound's nice. Do i haveto change the timeing gears/set? I have about 400$ left and i still need the A/C delete, LT4 KM and my computer tuned. I should have more money when i sell the motor and transmission in my car now & part out the 95. Until then im trying to get everything i need. Sorry to be a pest, im new to this whole thing and this is the first buildup ive ever done. Thanks for all your help.

Re: How does this setup sound?

Hey 1 more question. I pulled off the old water pump and the water comming out of the motor is the worst ive ever seen. It has sat for a while with no coolant in it and what is left is a rusty color and their is alot of gunk buildup(kinda like packing grease) Is that all just from sitting or is their a problem i should fix while the motor is out? I think the previous owner might of used that Dexcool crap or even mixed it with antifreez, not sure though.

I also loved the way my car sounded with stock exhaust minus the muffler but you can also get the a/c delete pulley from www.gmpartsdirect.com PN 10115875 for 36.96+ S&H but the other guy will probably be cheaper.
