How do you remove traction control and still have cruise control ?

So yeah I have a 96 Camaro and I removed traction control and installed a new throttle cable from a non traction control model (bought the cable on ebay). Well, there is another cable that connected to the traction control setup that runs down into the engine bay that I have hanging with a tie strap until I can fix the problem. I'm guessing the cable goes to the cruise control, what do I need to make it work ?

Just out of curiosity..why do you want to remove the traction control? I just cut mine off when I don't want it to activate.

I didn't know LT1s had traction control. My 94 Z28 doesn't have traction control and its fully loaded.

Tracton control became an option in 1995.

OP, you would have to change to a cruise control cable for a non-TCS equipped car (just like you did with the throttle control cable).

Okay, I've read this procedure and looked at all the photos, but ........ I still can't figure out how the second (all metal) clip on the replacement NON traction control cruise control cable clips onto the "brake booster" on its way up to the throttle body??? The first (plastic) clip just pops into the hole right next to where all the front brake lines merge together, but ..... I still can't figure out where that second clip attaches to the "brake booster" as stated in the procedure???

Any NON traction controlled vehicle owners have a photo of where this second (metal) clip attaches?

TIA for any replies.
