How do you reinstall lower timing chain sprocket?

I had to use a 3 jaw puller to get the original off, and I can't get the new one on. Do I temporarily reinstall the hub and hit it with a mallet to get the sproket seated right? Do I just hit the new sproket with a mallet? I lubed it up pretty good before sliding it on.

Okay, I just found this on shoebox's site, but what is that "tool" on the right? Could I use PVC?

You can use a short pipe and hit it with a hammer, it's fairly easy to fix. The hub is interference fit and it would be more difficult to put and remove.

You could try and use PVC, but I'm sure it would break far before you got the sprocket seated.
