How do you know which size injectors to use?

I guess the question is whats the formula? What do you need to know to get the best injector size say on a 396LT1 that might go through a bottle every 3 months of the good stuff(150shot).
What other info would you need to get proper size?
11.3cr also
Thanks Alan

Thanks,
How do I know what the duty cycle is?
Is the Max HP in rearwheel or flywheel HP?
The motor had 42s in it but was running more n02(has no injectors now)
I will be 95%motor and 5%juice. Should I still count the juice?
Please Help, Alan

I did a search and got most of the questions I asked answered.
I think you go flywheel HP?
But it gave me a few new questions too.
What is the highest dutycycle you would like to go to?85?
Have to guess the Hp of the motor but if http://www.smokemup.com/auto_math/fuel_injector.php
gives a # like 33 would you go 30 or 36? Have not seen 33s f/s?
thanks alan

That calculator is interesting since it says I would need 36lbers for my stroker.....hmm...I thought 30's would be enough...

I had 30# on my stock bottom car and wanted more (lower duty cycles), on a stroker I'd definately go bigger.

Duty cycle plays a big role in the formula I posted earlier. I've seen injectors hanging on in the 95% range, but don't think it's a good idea. I would shoot for 80% when buying new injectors, as it will give you a little wiggle room should you add a little more power later on.
