Exclamation How do you get clutch fork on properly??

OK, so now I know exactly what I did wrong last time and what I have to do now. My question is there are those two clips that I need to get under the ledge for the mounting bolt. How do I get these on? Do you have to pry them down and push the fork? Or do you push from the transmission side of the fork (push the fork forward, towards the engine) to engage the clips? I have everything lined up and the trans slides smoothly in and out of the splines of the disc. I just can't get those damn clips on!!!

I don't remember if I had to deal with that when I had mine out but here's a picture of what it looked like installed if that helps:

I'm assuming you have the fork off the transmission.
