How do you fix leaking/loose A.I.R tubes??
How do you fix leaking/loose A.I.R tubes??
both of my AIR tubes, the part that screws in the header, are loose (ie. you can move them about side to side) and I think they are leaking. I also have this rough yet quiet vibration and I think its my AIR fitting ramming into the dip stick or the sounds the leak makes all together.
How would someone fix this nonsense without replacing the whole deal. And, would a leaky fitting make such an aweful vibration....oh and the vibration come and goes, and it just started happening after I raplaced the pass. side plugs where I had to move the fitting to get my hands in there.
Suggestions??

Did you try tightening them up? A leak at that point can cause major problems with the O2 sensors, and cause the engine to running excessively rich.
