i believe there is one connector on it. also, i believe there is two skrews holding it to the bottom of the throttle body. the iac itself is black. the end of it (the part with the spring) will probally be full of carbon. i just let that end sit in some carb and choke cleaner for a while until it was clean. if you have sea foam, that will work for cleaning too. good luck

i was going to post the pic off of shoebox's website for you but i don't even know how to copy and paste. it would let me copy but it would not let me paste in this post. anyone know how to do that?

Whoa now, it is a bit tougher than unplugging it . FIrst, go pick up a new gasket from somewhere, they are dirt cheap and a little insurance. Ok, the good stuff. Take off the Intake elbow and disconnect all the lines and wires going to TB. If you havent bypassed the TB coolant lines now is a great time. All you need is a 3/8" barb fitting from a hardware store. Anyways, Get a 10mm socket and remove the 4 bolts holding the TB on. About the throttle linkage- I just left mine connected and removed the IAC while it was sitting on the motor. I couldnt figure out how to remove the cables? It was suppose to be easy but whatever. Get a torx-25 bit (or 20) to remove the IAC motor bolts (2). When cleaning the IAC motor do NOT pusht the little pintle up or down and dont spray TB Cleaner up in the motor. Clean out the hole it goes into also. Replace and reassemble everything. Make sure you put the intake elbow back on right. I usually stick my hand on the inside of it to check that it is on ok. if you have any more ?'s you can PM me.

Dude I don't know why you are trying to call shots on this TB thing... it takes me 3 minutes to take my TB off INCLUDING THE CABLES which even a chimpanzee could figure out how to take off. LOL I like your first comment, "Whoa now, it's a bit tougher than unplugging it." It's like woah woah buddy come on now, the IAC is a big deal here, you gotta treat it with respect. LOL, it's two friggin screws under your throttle body hahahaha. I thought that was funny.

To answer the original question, yes you just unplug it and let it soak in carb cleaner, that should do it.
