How do you check timing on the ol Lt1?
Re: How do you check timing on the ol Lt1?
Computer timing or actual timing?
You can hook up a log tool and see what the computer is commanding.
If you want to use a timing light you need a balancer with timing marks. Or you can put a degree wheel on it and make your own timing marks.

The whole timing system only goes on one way if done right no adjustment so all you would be checking would be tolerance stacking, you know manybe the opti is a degree or so out the chain a little sloppy miniscule stuff like that that really wont matter if you time it for power rather than just trying to use a set number of timing you want.
