Re: how and the hell!!! do you change plugs with bbk shortys

OK take a second and calm down i first time i did it with my shorties i almost lit the car on fire. But recently i was able to do it with out even jacking the car up. If you already have the drivers side done the passager is easy if you ask me just calm down. What i did do was cut a spark plug socket in half so it is short but i needed that for plug 7

The half cut socket is a good idea. Summit sells them already premade for our beloved f-bodies. It appears they did their homework.

ah, just cut yours. or grind it down. that along with a swivel head ratchet wrench works best. i use the half socket to pull every single one of my plugs. makes it so much easier. as for the passenger side, pull the starter out to get to plugs 6 and 8. i have never worked with shorties though, so my advice is somewhat limited.

when we did my buddy's I was dating this girl that was like 5ft tall and she was able to get her hand in their and turn it with a socket. So my suggestion is to find a midget or small armed person
