Tap it in to the purple colored wire coming off your oxygen sensor.

You have two O2 sensors, one on the bottom of the exhaust manifold on the drivers side, and one on the Y-pipe, below the exhaust manifold on the passenger side. One has a purple wire, the other has a purple wire with white stripe in the wiring harness (not on the sensor wire itself). You can tap into the harness wire, NOT into the sensor wire. Also easy to tap into the pins on the ECM... I can give you the pin #'s if you want.

The question that needs to be asked.... "what do you think the A/F gauge will show you?" First, the gauges are not "calibrated" except with the words "normal", "rich" and "lean". That means it will not show you a whole lot. At idle and part load, as the ECM operates in closed loop, the gauge will simply jump all over the place, in a psychedelic light show. At WOT, it will swing over to the "rich" side, but won't tell you much. The stock O2 sensors are "narrow-band" and are not accurate at the A/F ratios you need to produce maximum torque and power.

The 93 has the O2 sensors connected to:

Bank 1/left/drivers side:
purple/white stripe
Pin D6 (top row, far right)

Bank 2/right/passenger side
purple
Pin D22 (bottom row, far right)

Connector D is a 22-pin "brown" connector

That's what my Howell Fuel Injection Manual for the 1993 shows. For anyone who finds this thread in a "search".... these pin #'s are valid for 1993 only. 1994 and up is different.
