How do I trigger the Monitor mode?

I was told I have to drive a certain way to make the pcm click on monitor mode.

I dont have a clue what that means.
Does anyone know the way I'm suppose to drive?

Trying to pass smog.

Re: How do I trigger the Monitor mode?

just drive normal, not hot rodding it, for about 3 - 4 days, with the car warmed up, with between 1/4 and 3/4 of a tank of gas

if the codes have been cleared or the batt disconnected in the past week, you need to let it run all the OBD2 monitors

Thanks Dave.
I was hoping for a shortcut, but I guess there's no way around it.
