How do i remove the parking brake handle on a 4th gen?

To get console off - pull handle up "too far" (with button in to unrachet)

To remove the handle, remove a small screw on the side and then "unhook" the lower end of the button shaft. Some jiggling around will probably be necessary.

Mine had a pop rivet on it, you'll need to drill the center out of that if thats what yours has, just reinstall a screw afterwards .
