How do I remove the dash?
i know to get to the radio you have to take most of it off and that only requires a phillips screw driver and a 7mm socket. make sure you get the 3 screws that are insside the glovebox on the left once you open it
I just did this a few months ago, and basically, just keep on looking for more screws holding the dash on. Once you have them all it will slide out a pretty good ways without much effort.
The tough ones to find are just underneath your top dash cover below the windshield. Just pull off your top dash cover and the 3 or 4 screws are right there on top. Pop out your glovebox to get to a few more, and there's one near your fuse panel on the driver's side. The rest are mostly gotten to from underneath the dash. Just be patient and you'll find them all.
The bezel over your instrument panel will just snap off.

So the whole thing does have to come off to change this switch?
And ok, the ring above the instrument panel just pops off first without unscrewing anything? I don't wanna break anything and then have this frigging thing rattle forever. Okay thats a much better start...anyone else with experience, keepin comin...

Just give the instrument panel cover a steady pull and kind of work it loose, and then it will come right off. I think that's all you have to take off if you only want to change out your headlight switch. A few seconds and you'll know for sure.
