The part where your butt goes there is one 10mm? bolt on each seat remove it and the bottom part pulls out. As far as the big back seat piece I am unsure since I never pulled it.

Its very easy.
To remove the seats, you unscrew the bolt underneath, by the front on the seats. To see them, your goign to have to lean over on the ground/floor and you'll see it. One for each seat. That'll remove the seats.

As for the backrest part, you have to unscrew the seat belt bolts etc and the rest should be pretty explainitory when u are this far.

Fairly easy job. i did it when i swapped out for my leather

If you're gonna to that for weight savings, go ahead and remove the seat belts too. They're pretty hefty, and all they take is a couple of Torx bolts on each belt and they're outta there.

The fold down seat back and belts are the only real weight savings, together it all weighs around 30 pounds maybe more. The seat back is only held on by two bolts, one on each side. I removed the back and the seatbelts then reinstalled the two seat cushions. The cushions weigh maybe 1 lb each if that, they are just foam. It looks much better back there with them left in, plus it leaves the remote possibility that someone could still sit back there
