Question how do i pull the pulley?

hey guys, this is actually "mkent", i'm back home for spring break and on dad's computer, and therefore his name (Eds69s). I'm beginning to tear stuff down a little bit for the cam install. i've never had to remove a pulley before and dad's not around to help...so, how do you guys pull it off? i got the 3 bolts out! but she's stuck on there!

Are you talking about the crank dampner? I just tapped mine a little with a rubber mallet and it came off. If its never been off or its rusted you may need to persuade it a little more.

Remove the center bolt too!You may need a puller, also a short 1/2 inch extension to put in the crank hole to push against.Try looking for Shoebox's tech page.

Like this if you have the early model pulley shown in the pic. Later model ones have threaded holes in them so you can use a balancer puller to remove the pulley, too.
