I don't know if you are kiddin' or not, but they are bein' sarcastic. Bullet mufflers are loud as hell. I just got true dual Bullets on my car this past Saturday. Holy crap...it's loud.
I wasn't kidding. I guess I worded that post wrong. What I meant was add a bullet muffer in addition to what you have now. Just put it in place of your gutted cat.

all you need to do is add soemthing to the I pipe that will take some of the sound out. a bullet will quiet it some.. but if you want to quiet it down alot you need something with more packing. also you need something that will fit without hanging too low. that leaves you with a glasspack (dynomax thrush) or stainless works (from summit). or a chambered muffler also by stainless works and can be found at summit. depending on where your I pipe is you might be able to use a borla xr1 muffler.. the borla will make it REAL deep and smooth.

Is there a bullet style muffler that will make the car quieter than a Mercedes? Maybe actually using a Lexus/Mercedes/BMW muffler to quiet it down?

There's a way. Just put a really restrictive muffler on it. Or, do a y system after the axle and put a muffler for each pipe. That should quiet it down a lot.

If you really want to quiet it down, put a flo-pro twister muffler in the I-pipe, it's more restrictive than a bullet, but will really make a difference in loudness.

Add a few more cheap bullet/glasspack mufflers to what you have now, and call it a V6.

I know some mufflers quiet the acceleration when mounted one direction, while quiet deceleration the other way. So maybe add 2 of those in the I-pipe, one mounted each way.

Are you serious about that? I don't anything about flo-pro, except its almost identical to flow master, which I also know nothing about.

So, if I got this bullet glasspack muffler, and put in where the cat goes, this would quiet it down quite a bit right?

It should, and probably about the same as a cat.

But Jegs has them cheaper, $10 or so. That model number says it has a 3" header flange style inlet, and a 2" outlet (Jegs lists that one as $30). Might as well get a cheaper ($17) glasspack that has a 2.25" in/out, since it restricts the output... 3" inlet won't help.

Or spend about the same and get a different brand that offers 3" in/out (FlowTech or Moroso).

Flo pro twisters are nothing lke 40 series or 80 series flowmasters...They are more like a bullet in shape, but they are quiter than bullets.
