How do I know what injectors will work?

Im trying to buy some 30 or 36# injectors for my car. I have found several sets but I dont know if they will fit. They dont tell what applications they will work with. The two sets I was lookin at were holley 30# and ford racing 36#. Do you guys think these will work in my car? THanks

SVO's will work, and are usually the cheapest

First off, I don't think you are needing 36# injectors, if the only mods you have are what's in your sig.

SVO makes really good injectors. To find out what size injectors you will need, there is a formula to find out. Do a search for "Injector formula" or look in the top of this forum at the sticky message which states something like auto calculations for camaroz28.com

Good luck, with your mods I would suspect you only need about 26#ers.

Why are you replcing the injectors.. I have the mods in my sig and im still running strong with the stock injectors.. If you really want to change them I wouldnt go with the 36 lb ers.. thats what my friends running in his sprayed 383.. I would only go 26lb or 30 tops.. but why waste money? is there something wrong with yours?

injectors are universal, you'll need a tune to take advantage of the extra fuel flow.

why do you need them?

I have Lloyd heads and a Joe Overton cam on the way. I know i need at least 30# injectors but I may spray or step up to 383 later and dont want to buy bigger injectors twice. Im having hard time finding used SVOs. All i can find is what they call Ford Racing injectors and Holley injectors. Im just concened that they wont fit. Are Ford Racing injectors , SVOs? Thanks

SVO's are made by ford..
keep looking you will find a good deal on a used set.
i found my 42# for $200 shipped, barely used

you should be able to find a set of 55# for about $300...

Just a note, Bosch and SVO injectors are the same design.

Yeah the FMSs are the same as the SVOs, I have had a couple sets of the 30#s and the first set I ordered off the net were SVOs when I got them they were red top and black bottoms. and the box was labled Ford Motorsports, they fit fine, without the clips, the second set I have owned I ordered as the FMS 30#s and they were Identical, down to the part # on the side.
