I can't get that bottom part off. I tried pulling on it but its stuck...I have all the screws out. I don't want to ruin the gasket either

Thanks
Matt

Use some muscle, it will come off. And just make sure you have all the screws out.

you need a bigger hammer, and maybe a chisel.

I just put my ratchet between the part of the tb that sticks out by the cables, and the intake and pried it a bit, it came right off.

also if its been there for awhile, there is no way you will be able to save the gasket.

Sorry, it will be ruined. It will probably break into pieces when removed.

Trust me man, this is what i'm good at

You should be able to get a gasket at the regular parts store on sunday. If you have the coolant bypassed, you would be fine as long as the gasket part around the IAC is still in tact, but thats just to get you by. The heat causes these gaskets to become very brittle after awhile.
