WOuld like to see if I can get a cam from JoE O.

I would like to see if there is a better cam out there for my 383! This is the cam I have right now .
Its a 383, full bolt-ons, 11:1:0 Compresion, 6-speed, AFR heads that flow:
.2 136/99
.3 197/135
.4 239/167
.5 276/188
.6 296/205
.7 301/219
and the cam is a 235/245.585in. .595ex. 112+4

 

You can do a lot better than the cam ya listed. Depends on what ya want out of it.

You cant get ahold of Joe, at least I couldnt 6 months ago when I had a question for him. He dont answer email or PMs. Bret Baur on the other hand does, and he's badass at what he does.

 

I tried getting a hold of him too, left messages, emails, forum messages. Nothing in return. On the other hand, Bret is willing to use his knowledge to help folks, just shoot him an email.

yeh you can get ahold of bret but id just call joe during the day and get the best cam possible

I didnt know Joe O ever posted his phone #. How is some random guy looking for a cam going to be able to find his #? It kinda says something about a person when they dont respond to any emails or pm's though...

 

Joe O is a cool *** guy. I had no problems getting to him and he was real helpful.


You gotta go to his website lethalefi.com and get at him through there. If he's busy it's worth the wait.

I dont think someone should advertise for making and selling cams and then only respond to a few of many. Not saying he isnt a cool guy or doesnt know what he's talking about, but its bad business to do such things.

I really don't think Joe is looking for business... based on the posts I've seen previously from him and others.

 

I sent him a PM on here (Joseph Overton) and he responded the next day. The cam is definitely bad ***.
