How do I fix a broken oil guage needle? The pin is still there

While I was replacing the euroglow instrument panel (the old one burned out), I noticed that the oil guage needle was broken. It was glued back into place, but it did not move with the needle. (how useful)

So, I just removed it. Now, I have pretty euroglow and a working gauge cluster except for the oil needle is missing.

What's the easiest way to fix it?

If I replace the guage cluster with a used one, then I have to tamper with the odometer. And, I can't find anywhere to buy just the needle.

If the needle was merely spinning on the shaft, then a drop of super glue might take care of it (better get it in the right place ) .
