How do I adjust and test my TPS?

Im having a low TPS code and did some research...turns out this is a common problem with the holley 58mm TB's.

Now how do I go about adjusting it? Do I want to move it towards the front of the car? or the rear of the car?

Where exactly do I use the voltmeter to see what voltage Im getting?

And finally what is the proper voltage?

Thanks...

Thanks for the link dave....how do I actually test the TPS while its on the car though? I dont have a scanner so I would have to use a voltmeter...

I know what range I should shoot for I just dont know how to test it...

Test the voltagae across the black and blue wires coming out of it. Do you have a Haynes manual? I pushed sewing needles though the plastic covering and put the leads to those. Of course, don't leave them in there when you are done. If the voltage goes up as you apply throttle, I would say it is ok. Just play with it a little. If it "tops out" or "bottoms out" then you may have to enlongate the holes with a Dremel or somwthing to get the voltage just rigth. I beleive anything from .05-.07 at idel to 5.+ at WOT is fine. Get someone to help you. Have them press the gas pedal rather than cycleing the thorttle blades by hand. Make sure they are opening all the way, also.
