How do I access the wires on the starter?

Please help! I need to remove the two nuts that connect the battery wire and solenoid wire to the starter so I can remove it. I don't have any room to turn a normal socket wrench in between the starter and the frame of the car to loosen the nuts. What kind of tool do I need? Please be specific.

Thanks in advance,
Walter

If I remember correctly, I used a long extension and got to both nuts through the opening between the block and motor mount.

I unbolted starter itself first, you can turn it around then, so it will not be hanging on wires Then I removed thin wire, and then carefully thick. Put it back in reverse. Very easy this way.
