How do early and late LT1 balancer hubs differ.

I thought I heard they were different but how?

What years did they change?

Thank you in advance.

1993-1995 is overall longer than the 1996-1997 because of the crank position sensor that came into use in 1996. There is a reluctor on the front of the crank that takes up some of the space, so the later hub does not have to be as long.
