How to disable car so it will not start.

I rencently had some wheels stolen from my house, i was just up ther street at the time. Only bout 2 doors up. It was saturday evening. Between 8-10. Any way, the house was also unlocked at the time. It appears nothing is missing but the wheels, but i havent seen one of my sets of car keys since then, i could have possibly had them afterword, but i cant remeber for sure. I now also realize that i am missing the card the lets me into the neighborhood, its a gated community. The card would have been in the car cupholder. Im positive this would not have been in the house. It would have been in the camaro.

Long stroy im worried thives got my set of keys and a card that lets them into the neighborhood. But they would have had to have gotten into the car to get the pass card, why wouldnt they have taken the car then?

What is something quick and simple i can do to disable the car, just something i can do at night such as pull a fuse?

Pull the wire off the coil, or same wire off the top of the Opti, by the slot next to the water pump.

Check this out bro. http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/fbody/starterkill.htm

Just press a button, turn the key, and go. Don't have to pop your hood all the time

Hope it helps, and sorry about that **** bro, that sucks. Did you report it at all? If not...you wanna go get em back

Late!

Open cover on engine compartment fuse box.

Remove PCM fuse.

Replace cover.

Voila.

About as effective as pulling the coil wire except you don't get lots of fuel in your cylinders when they try to crank it over. Also no removal of the intake elbow to get at things. (assuming your coil is in the stock location)

Mind you if the potential thieves have been under the hood of an Fbody before and have more than about 2 minutes of time they could probably figure out how to start the thing.

EDIT: Another way would be to unplug the VATS resistor sensor wires under the steering column. Look for the really fine yellow wires with a connector in the middle and a tag that mentions how said wires are attached to the SRS system.

green,
Thanks, thats just what i was looking for something quick and easy.

I will probably also use brents page and make a kill switch.

Im just wondering why, if they have the keys, didnt they take the car wen they took the wheels?

Maybe im just over reacting and i lost the keys on my own and this whole situation is just a coincidence.

Apply large dose of N20 at idle. BAM! That should keep 'em from startin' her up and drivin' off.

Kill switch is a awesome idea. I'm gonna put one on mine as soon as i get time (been saying that for a year now ). I've got a buddy who put one one of his old cars. The bank repoed it and couldn't get the thing to start They sold it, it went through 3 other people before he finally broke down and charged the guy to show him how to start it. They even replaced the wiring harness..lol

In case anyone else has this problem.
I am pretty sure your fuel pump fuse is inside the drivers door. Just pull that. You wouldnt have to open the hood at all and there is no way it will get anywhere without fuel.
