How to convert from 1 wire o2 sensors to 3 wire o2 sensors for long tube headers
I have a 93 Z28 and I'm going to LT headers, I just want to know how to convert to a 3 wire heated o2 sensor.
do not4get,
Do you have LT right now. I do, and my car will not go into closed loop in idle no matter how long it does. It will go into closed loop only under load (in gear). I suspect that the PCM might force the 0'2 into closed loop under load, but they may not be sending the right info, at the that tempature, given that they do not go into closed loop in idle.
I have some heated 0'2 on the side right now. The thing is, I do not know if these 0'2 really are what they are. The have 3 wires, but I do not know if they
1.) hot, power
2.) black for ground
3.) signal wire
or
1.) high signal
2.) low signal
3.) ground / power (maybe gets ground from header).
I have no way of knowing......does anyone have a part number to a known 3-wire sensor with
1.) signal wire
2.) ground
3.) 12v power wire
Good Luck
