pull the plugs, white(chalky looking) is lean, brown is perfect, and black is rich. Curious, why do u think its lean?

When you melt your pistons you know you're running too lean.

Also if you hear that "pinging" sound under load. Not good.

pinging means too lean right? and another question if the car is running too rich besides pulling one spark plug to see if its black is there any other way of knowing if its running rich?

Just pull a plug! Its going to be the best indicator your going to get. Unless there is an exhaust leak or o2 sensor failure your car should be running fine.

Well, the BEST indicator is A/F on a dyno graph.....

thanks guys for the info, my car is running fine but i will pull a couple of plugs just to see how they are, im sure if i had a problem running bad either way my o2's would be acting up, or getting that ping

your car is likely not running lean. the PCM is set up in a way that makes it almost impossible for you car to go lean unless you add some serious internal mods and heads without programing your computer. or the more common way... add nitrous without adding fuel that can get ugly!
