on my old 87 TPI i was able to attach a manual pressure guage to the sending unit fitting on the oil filter unit.
try looking into it, i'm sure there is a way to do it

shoebox to the rescue... http://shbox.com/1/oil_pressure_sensor.jpg
you'll have to either remove the factory sending unit, or put a T in there to keep the factory and to provide a new port for your aftermarket oil pressure gauge. good luck.

And even more from the Shoebox Tech Pages... there is an unused port in the block, right above the oil filter mount, that can be used for oil pressure gauge connection. 94-97 only.... in 93 that's where they put the stock oil pressure sensor.
