Pull the rail and leave the injectors and the fuel lines attached attached. Place the rail outside of the car on a small table or something. Turn the key to on to prime the rail. Apply 12 volts across the two terminals using a power supply, this will force the injector wide open and spray for about 2-3 seconds. This injector should be working.

You can do this with all the injectors after first re-priming the rail each time.

before i screw up mr car... shouldn't the one terminal be grounded or do you really want to put 12 volts to both terminals?

he is saying you can use a power supply that is 12 volts, like a battery charger or something, anything that puts out 12 volts dc with trip the injector open and closed.

To clarify, you put 12v to one injector terminal and ground the other terminal to trigger the injector.

Using wrd1972's setup, the injector should spray fuel for as long as both terminals are connected.

For the health of the injector, don't trigger it for more than a couple seconds or so. This is plenty of time to know if it sprays or not. Use some caution, you will be spraying flammable gasoline a fair distance. Keep it away from open sparks/flames, open eyeballs and other body parts.

what is the difference between doing this or just pulling the rail and injectors up out of the intake and using the connectors... i already know i have pulse and voltage...

also when i thry to start the fuel pressure constantly bounces fron 37-40 psi, is this normal?
