how to ajust calipers after reinstalling?

how to ajust calipers after reinstalling?

i just painted them and re install them now what do i do to make them work properly?
do i need to ajust?how?
(i didnt drain any liquid or change pads)

Pump the brake pedal till they tighten up , all done. I would bleed them a little just in case since I'm there though.

If you took them off of the car and disconnected the brake hoses you have to bleed them.

If you somehow painted them without taking them off of the car then put them back on and pump your brakes and they should seat the pads. This is assuming you pushed the caliper cylinder back into the bore a bit to make it easier to reassemble.

also how can i put the rear pads on????
there is a clip with an 'h' shape and i dunno what to do and if put the pads without they are very loose and not even staying there what can i do?

If you havn't already you should buy a Haynes or a Chiltons auto repair manual as they give some good info.

Sorry on the H clip thing I haven't done my back brakes in over two years so can't recall.
