how to adjust e-brake? Car is rattling like crazy; rear brakes stuck
how to adjust e-brake? Car is rattling like crazy; rear brakes stuck
anyone here know how to adjust the e-brake? If its an adjuster screw or whatever? I can't find anything in my haynes manual.
i thought my rear calipers might've seized but i'm exploring all other options ....
i tore apart the center console but couldn't find anything out - if anyone else knows anything i'd like to hear it.
otherwise its trial and error
thanks!

There's a threaded adjustment under the car, just above driveshaft. The cable from the console travels under the floorboard to just before the rear, where it splits in 2 to accuate the left and right rear brakes.

I need to know how to adjust it too.
No cable screw adjustment. I took out my lt1 cables when i did the ls1 rear swap and put in the ls1 cables. NO adjustments on them either, but my e-brake has too much slack in it now
i adjusted mine, but lt1
if ls1 brakes are similar in design, there is a small hex screw in the caliper that you turn while the e brake spring is removed. you push the arm that the cable hooks to( like you are applying the brake) and adjust that screw until the stop on the arm is .020 away from the caliper housing. not sure about the gap but i think .020 is close enough. i used a g-string off of my guitar.put some loctite around the threads of the adjustment screw that is all that holds it in.the hardest part is the e-brake springs.when i put my hawks on my brake would not hold at all. now better than it was before.not sure about ls1 calipers though
