Question How about these Mods?

OK so I am now ready to start adding performance mods to my 97 Formula.
Here is what I have planed so far if anyone has suggestions please let me know
Jet Transmission Automatic. Freebee through warranty

Traction Control Module to turn off traction control…I think my car has it because I am only spinning one wheel doing burn outs. Will thin thing let me spin both wheels?

B&M Shift Plus Shift Improver, 1993-1998 RWD & 4WD 4L60E & 4L80E Transmissions
I guess this will help with my shifting

Hooker cat back Exhaust system. Keeping stock CATS on for now due to no $$$

If there is anything that you all know about these that I should please let me know

Thanks for your time & see you at the track

Ok get the new transmission, if its free, get the exhaust, forget the rest. They are a waste. Start with the basics CAI, Headers, Exhaust, then Drag Radials. This will get you off to a great start. If you have traction control it will be under your radio and you just push the button to turn it off. If you have no button then you don't have traction control. You have a limited slip rear end, therefore your right rear tire spins freely, and when it starts to slip, your left tire will get some power and then you launch, thats why you don't have 2 marks when you launch. Although on burnouts, you should have 2 marks.

one wheel spinning during a burnout is not traction control. sounds more like you have a shot differential. traction control limits the throttle to try to stop any tire spin.

forget b&m, if you get a shift kit, get the transgo. id start with catback, cai, drop springs, lca, subframes, phr, then go int the other boltons like headers and y, heads, bore and stroke.

the stuff to look for is a leaky intake manifold, leaky head gaskets, whining rear end, shot shocks and struts. the decarbon shocks suck bad. id suggest getting your hands on some bilsteins or kyb adjustables. bushings are another thing to look for.

If you are on a fairly uniform surface and only one tire spins, you have a f**ked Positraction. It should be replaced.
