Hotcam's 1/4 times and rwhp

I ordered my LT4 Hotcam kit last night. I've been looking all over these message boards for quarter mile times and rwhp with this kit and some bolt ons. But it seems that no one agrees on any of them. Some people say they're doing 12.1 with some bolt ons, some say they do 13.3 with headers, gears, tune, etc.... I have heard of roughly 325 rwhp with this cam and the usual bolt ons. Can anyone out there clear this up for me? My bolt ons are in my sig, I'm just curious as to what I'll be running at the track (just an estimate) Theres quite a difference betwen 12.1 and 13.3. I ran 14.5 @ 98mph at the track with only a CAI, and I was spinning all the way into third. Just some rwhp and 1/4 mile time estimates...Thanks.

hello get some headers, then ditch the hypertech and get either pcmforless or madwolf to custom tune your car with the hotcam.i loved my hotcam i put down 337rwhp with the whole hot cam kit and shorty headers plus all the bolt ons, with custom programming the car ran awesome...

First thing is get rid of the hypertech. I have friends with hotcam cars that dyno around 310-330 range, thats with tuning. As for 1/4 passes they been hitting 12.9-13.2 with around 105 mph.

The ones that will be posting the better times are the ones with the A4's and a stall with that cam. My best time with the LT4 HotCam was 11.80@113 raceweight at the time was 3530lbs.
That's with stock heads.

I'm a little faster now...than again I have different cam / heads.

well dont have any dyno #s , or 1/4 times since the hotcam, but I ran a 03 cobra from a roll , put 1 1/2 to 2 car's on him from 50 to 100 , and I have seen that they dyno around 360 rwhp.

Don't have track #'s but I recently put down 328hp with a hotcam and the usual bolt-ons.
