You need the springs, locks, retainers and locators.
I can ship all of that to you for $300.

The 918s will work really well with the Hot-Cam. Also, the beehive steel retainers are the same weight as the titaniums.

Springs sit on the locators. You can use the stock locators, but not a perfect fit.

LT4 springs are MUCH less expensive, and proven to work with the Hotcam. You could have saved yourself a lot of money. The lobes on the Hotcam are very easy on springs.

True, but I have heard that the LT1 valves are heavier than the LT4 valves. So the springs are rated to handle the LT4 cam but not with the stock valves. Correct me if Im wrong though because Im not positive.

What I am saying is that the LT4 springs are proven for use with the Hotcam, even with 1.6RR's, in the LT1 with the stock valves etc...

The valves might be lighter on the LT4, but that would only make the springs even that much better for an LT4 application.

when we spec'd the HOT cam springs, they were too close to coil bind for our liking. so we use other springs.
other benefits is less weight on the valve train, that is a good thing!
