Hotcam users with M6 please

When you put in your hotcam, were you unable to use 6th gear as much? I use 6th all the time, and always have. Anything above 50-55mph and I'm using it on the highway. If I start lugging it obviously I shift, but are you not able to run the low RPM's anymore because the hotcam shifts the torque curve to the upper RPM's?

Whenever I'm on the highway I'm always in 6th (in my old TA) with the hot cam and an M6. That was at around 75 or so.....

I can go into 6th gear at 55mph and cruise without any problems whatsoever. And I don't even have it tuned... It shouldn't be a problem for you either.

Well I haven't done the hotcam yet, it's been sitting under my bed for the past two years...

Just been wondering about that, since the torque curve moves up, I know I can get away with lower RPM's than an LS1 can, consequently I'm a lot more fuel efficient.
