I know this question has been asked before (Yes, I tryed a search). I have a 93Z that I just got done installing a CC306 with LLoyd Elliot heads. I had a hotcam PCMSFORLESS tune last season. I want to drive the car to storage (5 miles) but it runs like crap becuase it is not tuned yet (not until spring). Can I use the hotcam tuning without any damage just to make the car a little more driveable until it is tuned?

 

In a word...yes. It should be more driveable with the hotcam tune vs. stock. May need some tweaking on the dyno come spring, but that tune should get you a heck of a lot closer than stock.

 

I swapped the chips and it seems a lot more driveable now.
