I can't think of anything, except maybe a better timing set if it's stock now.

Do you have headers?

New pushrods, lifters, and maybe a mild port and polish.

Oh yeah, forgot about the lifters. Many reuse the stock ones, but better safe than sorry.

Did '95's come with hardened pushrods from the factory?

get the headers as soon as possible. you will not see the full potential until you do. it is a night and day difference.

I also heard that a home port and polish will help quite a bit, i'm getting closer to doing my cam and port and polish with headers, just need the headers but not sure if the shortys will be good enough

CC306,1.6RR's, 2800 stall,4.10's , headers & shift kit soon.
I finished the nitrous install 2 days ago, what a difference, like a hard passing gear and then some!!! almost makes me change my mind about the cam install and other parts!!
Going to Norwalk in a week or two to see what it runs, before nitrous it ran 14.2 . 100 shot maybe low 13's ???

Sorry to butt in here but do you think the shorty headers are good enough?
