Question Hotcam identification....

I bought a LT4 Hotcam about 6 months ago expecting to put it in later this year. I got to looking at it last night after I had purchased a timing set and it doesnt appear to be the right cam. Did they make a hotcam for 93-94 LT1s and another for 95-97 LT1s?

I have a 97 with vented opti. The reason I question the cam is b/c the dowel pin doesnt look very long. The only identification marks I could find on the cam were "FM 94" and "210 OIL".

Any help would be appreciated.

yea that doesn't matter... actually the smaller the better, cause the smaller it is, the less chance you'll have of breaking your opti bearing so you'll be fine
