All I can tell you is that you WILL have to pay something like $49.71 when it gets to your door. Thats is just the cost for going thru customs.

Fred, from my experience buying stuff from the states, you can almost exactly double the price in USD for anything. Revenue Canada charges 15% tax on new or used items when the come across the border. Plus the brokerage fees to screw you a little more.

With the Toronto F-Body Motorsports club discount I believe you can get a hot cam kit from Golden Mile Chev/Olds for about $920 CDN plus tax. We also have an affiliation with Royal Pontiac in Mississauga, where the cam kit would run about $870+tax (I believe).

I'm about to start installing my hot cam, now that the warmer weather has returned.

Maybe we'll see you out at some TFbM events this year?

try and find a way to send them somewhere in the states, and then have them ship them to you, cause then it can be shipped as a gift, and no tax or brokerage fee.
brokerage fee is generally close to what the GST is, so be prepaired to pay out the ***.

Is that XXV the infamous Hollywod?

I just finished putting my HC in. I got it for 172.69 USD at Sam Taylor Cadillac Buick in Florida. Do a search and you'll find it, call Jason Cromer. Great prices, great service.

Why not have Jason Cromer send it through GM to a dealership near you, prepaid...can't that be done?

It has to be possible to pull off.

Or you could just order it and pay the $50 for going through customs. I order from the US all the time and thats all I have to pay. Its no big deal. Unless you cant afford $50
