Hot Cam questions
#1 Are you guys staying with stock lifters?
#2 How fast are you spinning this setup? Stock crank, JE pistions
#3 Is this a good Nitrous set up ?
#4 Whats normal power gains ?

1) I am running stock lifters with no problems right now but will upgrade when I do heads.
2) My shift points are between 5900 & 6200 RPM & am spinning on a stock bottom end.
3) People say that the cam technically isn't the Ideal cam to run with N2O but I am no expert in this area. Thera are people that do run the combo without a problem but probably not getting the most out of the set up.
4) Check my sig. Everything is with all the regular bolt ons and major (LT Headers & 3200 Stall) I'd say that I am about the average with the Hot Cam on STOCK HEADS....

1. My buddy left stock lifters in his lt1 in his truck. now ones tapping, of course its in a truck so there is a lot more room to work.
2. i say shift at ~6100.
3. i asked the same ? as i got a kit for my hotcammed motor when its all said and done, and most said it would be fine. ( there are always people who say "why not go bigger camwise)
4. Buddy with the truck pulled 323hp and 332tq stock heads. i would expect 30-40rwhp or in the general area with the setup.
