Will i be able to run a cc306 using the rr's springs and all from a hot cam kit, i mean are the parts good enough for it or should i just buy everything separate? Thanks

 

Roller rockers, yes. Springs, no!!! Those springs are barely enough for the hotcam. I didnt even chance using the springs.

Hotcam springs are barely adequate for the hotcam itself, so you will need to buy better springs at least. The rockers and such, you should be able to use without any problems. Just check and make sure all the parts are in good shape (lifters, pushrods etc..). Good luck.

 

no they are not good enough...the springs are good till .550 with the hotcam kit and with 1.6 rr's the cam is bigger than that.....buy new springs and the rocker arms will work fine
