Finishing up having the Hot Cam Kit installed and got thinking about headers. Over the years have had a number of cars with headers and really have not had much luck. Have a good Y pipe and cat back system. Thoughts, experiences, HP and Torque with and without headers. Also, what stall do you suggest? Thank you!!!

 

I had the hotcam kit with no headers a few years back. I dont have any dyno #s, but I can tell you that with a K&N CAI, a flowmaster cat-back, the hotcam kit and a stock tune, the car went 13.40s @ 107 on 245/50-16 crappy goodyears. Thats about what you can expect with no headers.

 

you're probably leaving 20-30 rwhp on the table with a cam and no headers.

 

It would definitely be a worthwhile upgrade to enhance your cam.
