Hot air inside car?

ok, when im drivin like 50+mph i can feel hot air coming in from under the dash. Right by the gas pedal, coming from right behind and above the back of the center console it feels like. Any clues what it is?

does it do it w/ the window's up? or only when they're down? if its when their down chances are your missing a grommet of some sort.. If when their up. you probably have a hvac issue..

Re: Hot air inside car?

Yes, your vents are open. Wheter your heat or a/c is on, if your dial that has the hot to cold setting is set to the red (hot) your vents are open, allowing air to flood in from your engine bay. Good way to keep your car running at about 5 degrees cooler though. But yeah, if you want it to stop, close the vents by rotating your temp setting to the blue. Again, doesn't matter if your ac or your heat is on.
