hoses
hoses
in advance all the directions i give are looking at the engine from the front of the car.
alright i need a little help with some hoses. here is a thread for reference thanks to shoebox.

see hose number 4? i see it connects to the TB but which spot? there are three on the left side, so top, bottom, or middle?
also there is a hole right above the PCV hose. what goes there?
and lastly there is a sensor on the left side of the intake with two hoses that connected to it. where do each of these hoses go to?i think its fuel evap or something but i still dont know where the hoses go.
if any of these have to do with AIR or EGR then just let me know bc i dont need them, so thanks in advance.

The coolant connections to the throttle body are to the plate bolted to the bottom. The top passenger side connection is for the PCV vent tube, the middle/smaller one is for the EVAP vacuum solenoid and the very bottom one, on the plate, with a bend in it, facing forward, is for the coolant line from the back of the heads.
The thing on the bracket on the passenger side of the intake is the EVAP purge solenoid. Just because something has a wire connected to it doesn't make it a "sensor". You have to have the two hoses connected the right way, or you will get a code via the vacuum switch sensing a vacuum when the solenoid is supposed to be closed.

The difference between the one shown in Shoebox's 95 photo is that the line from the EVAP solenoid "to throttle body" connects to a vacuum switch (#11 in diagram below) on the valve cover before it connects to the throttle body:

Line #2 in the diagram is the "3rd" hose in the fuel line bundle.
Not sure what you mean when you say "also there is a hole right above the PCV hose."
Top hole is for the (PVC air supply) vent tube to the passenger valve cover:

None of the above have anything to do with AIR or EGR.

thank you thats exactly what i was looking for. when i said there was a hole above the PCV valve i meant on the driver side where the PCV valve connects, there is a hole directly above it that looks like something screw into but but im guessing when i had it rebuilt it was taken out and misplaced somewhere. so on most cars it will have a hose nipple screwed in there im guessing but mine has nothing.
Shoebox has a photo of the stock fittings on the driver's side of the manifold. The connection above the PCV valve is for the EGR vacuum solenoid. You have to plug that hole up.
