Re: horsepower question

depends on who makes the 'intake huge'
Id say anywhere from 340-360 rwhp and comparable torque.

Re: horsepower question

i'd guess in the upper 300's, maybe even 400. a hotcam on stock heads with edelbrock shorty headers, pulley, 52mmtb, 1.6rr's, CAI, and catback exhaust made around 330 rwhp. the hotcam is kind of mild, so i'd say easily upper 300's

Re: horsepower question

I wouldnt see it being near 400 with an auto. with that sort of lift with perfectly matched heads you may be seeing 400 to the rear wheels, but you didnt give any specifics on what was done to the heads.

the head intake hole were ported as much as possible as well as the exhaust holes the valves were given a 3 angle jon and the intake was ported to match the heads from what i understand

Re: horsepower question

NOMAD or someone else please inform me why porting the heads like that would be bad for the heads. I don't meen to steel the thread and am not trying to be smart, I just am curious and would like to learn somthing on the subject real quick.

the key terms for today are:

'Target Port Cross Section Area' and 'Port Velocity'

Re: horsepower question

Hi
just because i am not sure what the PROFESIONAL did exactly doesn't mean they are ****. He builds profesional race motors most of the motors he sells go for over ten grand. So i appreciate the help but im not an idiot. Has anyone here ever put full suspension and an lt1 into a previously v6 car, because i have so back off. You guys need to get off your high horses, and back off for those of you that helped thanks alot for others F/O.
thanks

Re: horsepower question

I will post the dyno results when i get them but from what im seeing in your signiture you don't have a chance anyway. Oh yeah i live in Texas too so after everything gets on i wouldn't mind meeting you at the Sanger drag strip for some fun. I am usually not a jerk to those of you just now reading this but these guys need to relax.
