Re: Horsepower?

340rwhp is easy mid 12's in the 1/4mi possibly low 12's if you have it tuned in real good suspension-wise. if your buddy's LS1 is running low 12's it sounds like he has more than just your basic add-ons. maybe nitrous? i know chassis dynos are all different but 340rwhp is nothing to be upset over with stock heads and stock bottomend, imo.

Re: Horsepower?

Who tuned your car? Mail order or dyno?

The torque is lower than it should be -- your tune might be off.

340hp is pretty good for a hotcam.

Re: Horsepower?

That is VERY nice numbers. I put down 310 rwhp and 325 rwtq with shorties, and a cutout, plus all typical bolt on modds, and with opti breaking up at around 5400 rpms. Since then ive replaced opti, and gutted the cats. Hopefully redyno soon.

Re: Horsepower?

340 does seem high for a cam only lt1. Pretty much what I dynoed with my heads/ cam car. If your car does indeed make that much power with 500 lbs removed, I don't see why mid to low 11s wouldn't be possible.
